Sustainable, food-safe, and healthy packaging is important to us. All our packaging is biodegradable. We pay attention to every detail. Our stand-up pouches are:

• with Green PE

What is Green PE? It's a plastic made from sugarcane. The special feature of our stand-up pouches lies in the material used: our Green PE, which is not petroleum-based but made from sugarcane.

Raw cocoa packaging: Our cocoa packaging is also made of PLA plastic (biological plastic), which is 100 percent biodegradable.

What is PLA plastic? PLA falls under the category of synthetic polymers, as the material is artificially produced in a laboratory. Unlike conventional plastics, PLA is considered a so-called "bioplastic" because it is made from renewable raw materials: PLA consists of cornstarch and lactic acid and thus meets the criteria of renewable biomass. The resulting molecular structure of PLA is biodegradable and compostable.
